Can you please specify which formats in particular. We have latest releases where formats are updated. Is this an still an issue?

Can you please elaborate in what way your suggestion is different from simply filtering them out from the Search | Filter menu?

The feature is available in Magic Workstation and The Vault.

How it should work, as I see it:

    - a 'Print Deck' option in the 'Deck' menu
    - you can only print a loaded deck (or choose a deck to print, whatever is easier)
    - you've given the choice for paper type (usually A4 I guess)
    - print or preview print

    What the program does:

    - sorts the cards and divides them between the pages (I guess perfection would be 3 rows and 3 columns for a total of 9 cards each
    page)
    - automatically resize the card art for each card to have it printed the exact same size of a real card
    - print the needed sheets of paper with the card art on it

This way I could build a deck, print it, cut the cards, put them in the plastic over a real card and play with friends wherever i want.

    Option would be:

    - select how many cards each page, define borders and space between cards
    - option to exclude some cards (let's say I don't want to print lands because I already have them)

What I can suggest is to extend the Deck Properties for the *.deck file format and be able to manage your tracking from there?
    Do you agree?

Can't you use the Missing Set Cards report for such means?

This is possible even today. Just right hand click over the Card Name column and select Group By column. This will give you the desired layout.

I started something small for iPhone (since I do have iPhone, Mac, Apple dev license and knowledge in Objective-C). More (screenshot included) at http://www.mtgstudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3874

And it will be an phenomenal effort to achieve that as well. The only onces that have manged to make a fully blown AI support for a limited number of sets are Microprose with their Shandalar: Duels of the Planeswalkers. Even they can not make an AI for all sets.

What is feasible is to make a solitaire play when you take first the turn of player A and the the turn of player B.

Admingaddlord (Admin, PalmROOT, Inc.) commented  ·

Online Play (aka Multiplayer) is something we definetely not going to do soon due to some copyright and pattents constrainst. Offlice deck testing though may be possible in the future.
